Spend the day exploring the area. Munnar, which is 1600 metres above sea level, is located at the meeting point of three mountain streams: Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni, and Kundale. The British administration used to spend their summers in South India at Munnar. Visits to Kundale Lake, Echo Point, and Mattupetty Dam are among the local sightseeing attractions in Munnar. In the afternoon, head to Rajamalai to see the "Nilgiri Thars," the rarest kind of mountain goat.

Proceed to Thekkady, one of the world's most beautiful animal sanctuaries, for a sightseeing tour. The 777-square-kilometer Periyar wildlife sanctuary in Thekkady is separated into 360 square kilometres of lush, evergreen forest. The refuge was designated a Tiger Reserve in 1978 and is known for its geology, wildlife diversity, and natural beauty. Optional activities such as boating on Periyar Lake, visiting spice plantations, bamboo rafting, trekking, and elephant riding are available for an additional fee. An overnight stay in Thekkady is planned.

Check out of the hotel after an early breakfast and drive 170 kilometres (five hours) to Kumarakom, where you will check into a hotel. Go sightseeing in and around Kumarakom, a little backwater village set on the western sides of Vembanadu Lake. The backwaters cover an area of 900 square kilometres. The residents of Hamlet wish to follow their ancient ways of life. Choose a houseboat, motorboat, or canoe to discover the best attractions of this backwater paradise. An overnight stay in Kumarakom is planned.

Early in the morning, at 6 AM, head to the bird sanctuary. After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive the 40 km (or 1-hour) to Alleppey, a small town with a wide network of lakes, lagoons, and freshwater rivers crisscrossing it and being flanked on three sides by the Arabian Sea. Numerous thousand foreign tourists visit Alleppey each year, which is a popular backwater resort known for its boat racing, beaches, marine products, and coir industry. Upon arrival, check into the houseboat (check in time 1.00 pm). Take a Vembanad Lake backwater ride to relax for the day. On the houseboat, you spend the night.

After breakfast, depart from the Alleppey houseboat (check-out time is 9.30 AM) and go to Cochin Airport (70 KM, 2 12 Hours by car) for your next destination.
